At Olive Health & Travel Clinc we provide professional, convenient mobile phlebotomy services.

Going to the hospital or community clinic for a blood test can be a time-consuming or stressful experience, especially for those who are generally anxious with blood tests or have a busy work/life schedule. At Olive Health & Travel Clinc we can ease your experience by simply coming to you to take your blood sample. You can request a home-visit or have your blood tests taken at work. It’s quick and comfortable and at a time convenient to you.

Types of home blood-draws

Mobile phlebotomy service is available for both Private blood testing services and for NHS patients with a blood tests request form from their GP. Our NHS Service is currently limited to our local borough Redbridge & Barking.

Private blood testing:

• A home blood test kit you have ordered online and need help with the blood draw.
• Blood tests you wish to request privately through our Lab. Please ring us for pricing or see our pricing page for commonly requested blood tests.
• You might be interested in our venesection procedure (also known as therapeutic phlebotomy). Please call us or email for any questions.

Blood test results

If you have requested blood testing through us, we will receive your results from the lab within the turn around time stated at your appointment. Most results are available in 24 hours, except where special tests or panel tests are requested. We will email your result to you and a hard copy can be posted to you on request. If you wish for us to forward your results to your doctor or GP, we can do this too.

We do not get your results if:

• You have ordered a private blood test kit from elsewhere. You will need to contact the provider for results.
• We have taken your blood sample for your GP. Your results will be sent directly to your GP from the local hospital laboratory.

Distances and areas covered

We have mobile phlebotomist’s in various parts of England and we may be able to arrange a visit for you if one is local to you.

Our coverage includes North/East/South/West London, City of London, parts of Essex, Birmingham, Brighton, Bristol, Datford, Eastbourne, Edinburgh,Essex, Glasgow, Hampshire, Hertfordshire, Manchester, Newcastle, Somerset, Suffolk and Surrey.

We will let you know your home-visit fee prior to any bookings.

Please get in touch with us if you are a corporate client requiring a visit for your employees, or wishing to request regular phlebotomy sessions at one of your clinics.

COVID-19 measures

Taking safety and infection control measures have always been part of our protocols, and now especially during this current climate our phlebotomist’s will attend with additional appropriate PPE. Should you wish to have your blood sample taken in a designated part of your house (e.g. garden or doorstep), we are happy to adjust our visit accordingly.
